I've made an emoji! (December 8, 2022)

I've made an emoji that I'm quite pleased over. It's called "autistic lurker" and is on at least one mastodon instance at the moment. If you have a mastodon instance and would like to use it, it's free with attribution to me (you can link to my website). I'll likely put up a section with downloads, but for now, I'll link it here.

Life updates (December 8, 2022)

I haven't been able to keep up with this lately, but stuff has been going on, so here's a few things:

• Joined a mastodon server for the shop at https://handmade.social/@melindrea
• Started and then paused streaming--battery on my computer can't handle heavier load
• Started christmas gifts and have finished some
• Considering commission and shop items around both paracord and spiritual things (bracelets, keyfobs, lanyards, cane wristlets and tarot wraps)

Ko-fi shop updated (December 8, 2022)

My October prompt journal (Frost) is now available for everyone, and November's prompt journal (Mirror) is available for my monthly supporters (only $3 per month for my first 100 supporters, and bonuses include keeping the price and bonuses even if I reorganize tiers).

Bye Twitter and Instagram, hello PixelFed (December 8, 2022)

After thinking about it, I'm going to no longer link to my Twitter and Instagram accounts, since I want no part of the first one and don't really use the second one. With that said, I've started looking at PixelFed (a Fediverse Instagram), and will see about getting a habit to post on there instead.

Begone! Google fonts (December 8, 2022)

Okay, that's a far more dramatic title than this update really is. Long story short: I live in Europe, and German court has ruled that using Google Font's API to serve fonts (as opposed to hosting locally) breaks GDPR. I will be using Bunny Fonts instead, which claims to be a "privacy-first web font platform designed to put privacy back into the internet".

Prompt Journals (August 25, 2022)

At this time the three print-it-yourself prompt journals of Solstice, Water Lilies and Harvest are available to all, in my Ko-fi shop. If you are a member you also have early access to buy September's Moon Journal.

Weekday Stickers (July 29, 2022)

I have a pack of beautiful weekday stickers available in my ko-fi shop. There's two of each weekday, and they're decorated with foil on the letters, with the shape an oval with open scallops.
